Senior Staff Accountant
Caring is looking for a daring Senior Staff Accountant to support the Accounting Department by running daily accounting tasks. You will be a pivotal part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for Caring’s finances.
Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of the Senior Staff Accountants day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail. This position is locally based in Charlotte, NC.

As the Senior Staff Accountant at Caring, you will:
- Help manage month-end by posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Review invoices and bills to ensure accuracy
- Efficiently and effectively communicate with customers regarding invoicing discrepancies
- Track and present monthly findings of invoicing efficiency/discrepancies
- Prepare and analyze income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
- Manage payment application
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Assist the accounting department in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings and audits
- Assist with other accounting projects
Our Ideal Staff Accountant Will Have:
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Excellent organizing abilities
- Unparallel communication skills
- Naturally curious thought process
- Knowledgeable with numbers and figures and an analytical foresight
- Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Knowledge and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- BS/BA in Accounting
Strong Plus:
- Experience in Oracle NetSuite, and other commensurate billing systems
